My Routine for Dry Skin

All my dry skinned ladies…..put your hands up! If you suffer from dry skin no worries, I’m here to share a routine that has been working for me these past couple of months.

For the longest I struggled with my skin because I didn’t know what kind of skin I had or what products to use on it. It became worse with certain seasons such as winter or summer. My skin would become so dry it would itch and feel taut – I would develop flaky skin that would begin to peel. All in all it was awful.

However I read an article in a magazine once and I finally identified what kind of skin I have – dry skin. Once I knew my skin type I was able to find the best products for it.

This a routine that consists of a hydrating mist, hyaluronic acid serum and a moisturizing cream that I put on in the morning and night before I go to sleep. This routine is going to especially helpful as summer begins and I need more moisture.

(Products used: Advanced Clinic Moisturizing Cream; Pearlessence Coconut Rose Hydrating Mist; Hyaluronic Acid)

The first step I do is wash my face – usually with Biore’s Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser or a Foaming Wash.

Once I have a clean face, I start off with a hydrating mist – my favorite is Pearlessence’s Coconut Rose Hydrating Mist.

I massage the mist into my skin before using the hyaluronic acid. I use 2 drops which I then apply to my skin.

Lastly, I put on my moisturizing cream. This one is my favorite by Advanced Clinicals with Coconut Oil. It is really soft and light on my skin with a fresh coconut scent to it.

And that’s all there is to it – that and happy moisturized clean face!
